Gregg Stacy served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Brewers Association, the not-for-profit promotional and legislative organization that serves New York State breweries, microbreweries, farm breweries and brewpubs. Along with fellow Board Members, Gregg lobbied New York State legislators to pass landmark legislation that has helped New York State Craft Brewers grow and maintain their viability in a hyper-competitive marketplace. Key pieces of legislation included a bill allowing small independent breweries to terminate contracts with wholesalers (ABC Law § 55-c), state excise tax reduction and the repeal of "Sunday Blue Laws", allowing retail establishments to serve alcohol on Sundays before 11am.

Gregg was also instrumental in establishing the organization's marketing program under a newly revitalized board led by its first ever Executive Director.
